Analog Circuit Designer (Contract)

About the role

This role involves the development, testing, and validation of hardware technologies for data centers as an Intel contract employee (6-9 months). You will join the Design Sales Acceleration (DSA) group to provide design validation tools and services for Intel-based customer platforms.

What you'll do

• Analyze system-level challenges and identify solutions to optimize performance and correlation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement pre-silicon testing methodologies.
• Develop and execute detailed validation plans to ensure system-level accuracy and reliability.
• Use data-driven techniques to support technical decision-making and enhance validation workflows.
• Provide clear technical documentation and communicate progress effectively to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in platform hardware design, including PCB development, component specification, and system-level integration.
• 3+ years of experience using PCB design tools and schematic capture software.
• 3+ years of experience with BOM cost analysis and design tradeoffs at the board and system levels.
• 3+ years of experience debugging and resolving hardware issues during system bring-up and power-on activities.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of hardware verification methods and validation processes.
• Experience in thermal solutions, materials testing, or packaging design for electronic hardware.
