About the role
This role is for an Analog and Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer Intern focusing on data converter circuit design aimed at future products. You will gain experience with tools, skills, insights, and tradeoffs for successful integrated circuit design.
What you'll do
- Design data converter circuits at the block or circuit level.
- Perform circuit simulation.
- Conduct electromagnetic simulation.
- Implement high-level custom software simulation.
What you'll need
- Enrollment in a MS or PhD EE program.
- Strong skills in transistor-level design of mixed signal CMOS and/or BiCMOS circuits.
- Familiarity with schematic entry / layout / simulation tool flow (preferably Cadence).
- Familiarity with one or more software scripting tools to support design, such as Bash, Python, PERL, Awk or SKILL.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-speed designs (> 1 GHz).
- Experience in data converter calibration and analysis.
