About the role
This role involves developing AMS/Optics CAD automation processes to enhance development efficiency within the CCDS CAD team at Marvell Central Engineering Organization. The position focuses on CAD automation developments in pre-silicon environments for Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) and Photonics/Optics IC design.
What you'll do
- Support the development, deployment, and maintenance of CAD methodologies, design flows, and automation tools for Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) and Photonics/Optics IC design.
- Develop Python, SKILL, TCL, and other scripting solutions to improve design productivity, automation, and flow integration.
- Assist in creating and maintaining PDK-related utilities, design environment setup, verification, and AI-Assisted design flows.
- Work closely with analog and optics design engineers to understand design challenges and develop effective CAD solutions.
- Debug and resolve issues related to design environments, simulation setups, LVS, DRC, PEX, and reliability verification flows.
- Support APAC region (Singapore, Vietnam, India, Taiwan), inclusive of US timezone.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Basic understanding of analog/mixed-signal IC design concepts, semiconductor devices, and IC design methodologies.
- Knowledge of silicon photonics design.
- Good knowledge of Python scripting.
- User level Knowledge of the Unix operating system.
