About the role

This role involves identifying and leveraging opportunities for Murata technologies in AI data center server architectures and interconnect technologies.

What you'll do

• Analyze AI data center server and network architectures.
• Track interconnect technologies including Ethernet, InfiniBand, PCIe, CXL, SerDes, retimers, cables, connectors, and optical engines.
• Evaluate challenges such as signal integrity, optical loss, bandwidth density, energy efficiency, EMI, thermal performance, and reliability.
• Identify opportunities for Murata technologies in Server packages, boards, and intra/inter-rack interconnects.
• Translate customer and market trends into product requirements and development priorities.
• Develop technical value propositions, competitive analysis, market sizing, and business recommendations.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Photonics, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
• 3+ years of experience in technology development, technical marketing, systems engineering, application engineering, or business development.

Nice to have

• Experience in data center networking, optical communications, high-speed interconnects, network semiconductors, servers, or AI infrastructure.
• Experience working with customers, engineering teams, and product organizations.
• Master’s or PhD in an engineering related field.
