About the role
Texas Instruments is seeking a Yield Enhancement (YE) Execution Engineer to join the team at SMFAB in Sherman, TX. The role focuses on driving operational execution, resolving line bottlenecks, and minimizing cycle time in a high-volume 300mm wafer fab running analog technologies.
What you'll do
- Support YE operations to keep the wafer manufacturing line safe and free of defects. - Conduct daily operational planning and execution to resolve line bottlenecks and support internal customer inspection needs. - Proceduralize lot disposition for engineering technicians with a focus on documentation and quality control. - Utilize inspection platforms to perform defect partitions and defect sourcing methodologies to determine root cause. - Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support continuous production flow and minimize cycle time in a 300mm wafer fab running analog technologies. - Support manufacturing ramp activities, including equipment/process startup, process experiments (SWRs), and cross-functional data analysis.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing role.
Nice to have
- Experience in the semiconductor industry. - Foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control, and process release strategies. - Experience with defect inspection recipe writing and inspection setup. - Familiarity with fetching and manipulating large datasets and experience with SAS. - Proficiency in AI-enabled workflows.
