About the role
What you'll do
- Analyze end of line test, parametric, and fab data to identify design, process, and test issues impacting yield.
- Develop new tools for yield analysis and implement machine learning techniques to improve analysis efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify new ways to use existing tools to detect relevant process issues or device failures.
- Identify interactions between process modules and/or equipment to detect fail mechanisms.
- Use inline data to drive process improvements.
- Provide feedback on design and process issues that limit device functionality and help the R&D team resolve existing issues.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of industrial experience in a related semiconductor field, or MS or PhD in Engineering or a related semiconductor field.
- Good understanding of semiconductor processing.
- Demonstrated expertise in CMOS operation and understanding of memory cell operation.
- Ability to effectively extract, analyze, and report data.
- Demonstrated statistical analysis skills.
- Programming skills, including JavaScript, Python, R, and SQL.
