About the role
As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will refine standard operating procedures, track KPIs, improve fab efficiency, and coordinate lot activities to meet on-time delivery schedules in an advanced packaging semiconductor fab.
What you'll do
- Develop, refine, and publish standard operating procedures for the manufacturing floor.
- Apply data analytics and statistical methods to translate factory data into insights for operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), Cycle Time, and bottleneck tool performance.
- Contribute to capacity modeling and fab improvement initiatives.
- Develop queries and reports for tracking factory KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate and escort expedited lots in the fab.
What you'll need
- 3-5 years of Semiconductor Manufacturing Experience.
- Foundational understanding of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.
- Experience with cross module collaboration to understand process flow and efficiency drivers.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to learn tools and techniques such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL.
- Ability to obtain government security clearance, requiring U.S Citizenship.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a closely related discipline.
