Work with GaAs HBT processes for yield improvement.
About the role
This role is for a Summer 2027 intern student to be a member of the Yield Engineering team, responsible for reviewing and deposition of all production and engineering lots, developing and monitoring yield Paretos in wafer fab and at test.
What you'll do
- Automate yield report generation for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Help with yield improvement projects for GaAs HBT processes.
- Develop and monitor yield Paretos in wafer fab and at test.
- Perform root cause analysis of top issues.
- Provide Paretos and potential causes to other functional departments for addressing top issues.
What you'll need
- Enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. college program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related technical field.
- Ability to work onsite for up to 3 months (May to August 2026).
- Software development knowledge.
- Generation of Excel macros.
- Generation of clear code that can be followed by other engineers for continuous maintenance of application.
Nice to have
- Hands-on skills in software development.
- Higher level computer programming skills, such as C or Python.
- Experience in data analysis of large data sets.
- Generation of scripts for Camline.
