About the role
This Yield Engineering Intern will learn and conduct development activities on process equipment and execute a fab engineering trial.
What you'll do
- Learn and conduct development activities on process equipment.
- Collect data via various metrology tools.
- Analyze data using software such as JMP, Spotfire, or Excel.
- Perform process troubleshooting and recipe optimization.
- Design and execute a fab engineering trial.
- Work on projects involving Evaporation, CVD, PVD, thin film depositing, Electroplating, plasma etch, Dry/Wet Etch, Photolithography, Wafer Dicing, or CMP.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Semiconductor coursework and/or experience, including standard processing techniques (PVD, CVD, lithography, optics, dry/wet etch, CMP).
- Willingness for hands-on engineering work in a clean room facility.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
