WSoC PHY/MAC Validation and Integration Engineer
This role focuses on chip-level bring-up, DSP implementation, and PHY component integration for wireless communication systems.
About the role
As a WSoC integration and validation engineer, you will be responsible for the integration and optimization of physical layer (PHY) components in wireless communication systems. Your role involves chip-level bring-up and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) implementation for wireless connectivity solutions.
What you'll do
- Execute integration and optimization of physical layer (PHY) components in wireless communication systems.
- Perform chip-level bring-up and hardware debugging.
- Implement Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms in real-time systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to verify performance, compliance, and reliability across wireless connectivity solutions.
What you'll need
- BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in physical layer (PHY) components integration and optimization.
- Experience with chip-level bring-up and hardware debugging.
- Working knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) implementation.
Nice to have
- Experience in wireless communications with a focus on PHY layer design and integration.
- Understanding of DSP concepts and implementation of DSP algorithms in real-time systems.
- Experience with PHY/RF/MAC verification, constrained random testing, and debugging.
- Experience with RF parametric testing, including EVM, ACPR, Rx sensitivity, and blocker testing.
- Experience with lab equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and DMMs.
- Python programming skills.
- Knowledge of wireless protocols such as Bluetooth, WLAN, and UWB.
Skills: PHY/MAC, bring-up, RF parametric testing, EVM, spectrum analyzer
