About the role
This role involves developing expandable RTL and creating automated SPICE simulation flows.
What you'll do
- Develop expandable, parameterizable RTL in Verilog or VHDL.
- Create and maintain simulation-ready test structures and interfaces.
- Set up and execute SPICE analyses (transient, DC, AC) and evaluate results.
- Build an automated SPICE simulation flow, including scripted run setup, result extraction & post-processing, and generation of reproducible reports/artifacts.
- Document workflows clearly, including how to run and extend them.
- Write supporting scripts in Python and/or Tcl for tool integration, parsing, and automation.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled student (Bachelor's preferred / Master's) in Electrical Engineering.
- Solid fundamentals in digital design (combinational/sequential logic, FSMs, timing basics).
- Ability to write clean RTL in Verilog or VHDL (modular, readable, maintainable).
- Fundamentals of CMOS circuits (basic gates, switching behavior, delay/power concepts).
- Familiarity with Linux command line tools and Git version control.
- Practical experience running SPICE simulations (set up netlists/testbenches and run typical analyses).
- Scripting experience in Python and/or Tcl (automation mindset and ability to parse results and build repeatable flows).
- Good English communication skills (written and spoken), including the ability to write concise technical documentation.
