About the role
Texas Instruments is looking for an Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, improvements, upgrades, and equipment installation across the fab.
What you'll do
- Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, upgrades, and installations. - Interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to resolve equipment issues. - Improve system performance to meet process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs. - Monitor and analyze tool data to maintain performance and address equipment issues. - Coordinate supplier service and repairs when needed. - Prepare technical reports, summarize findings, and recommend solutions to technical problems.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED. - 18 years of age or older. - Either 2 years of semiconductor technician experience, or 8 years of non-semiconductor/military technician experience. - Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule. - Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including one weekend shift and holidays.
Nice to have
- Experience with wet bench platforms such as TEL Expedius and DNS FC-3000/3100. - Experience with single wafer clean platforms including LAM SEZ, TEL Celesta, and DNS SS-3000/3200/3300. - Troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems.
