Texas Instruments is seeking an Industrial Hygienist | Safety and Health Specialist to support site industrial hygiene programs and compliance in Richardson, TX.
What you'll do
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as TI corporate EHS standards. - Design and execute industrial hygiene monitoring programs including air sampling, noise dosimetry, chemical exposure, and heat stress evaluations. - Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments for new equipment, processes, or chemical introductions within the Management of Change (MOC) process. - Recommend and oversee hierarchy of controls implementation (Elimination, Substitution, Engineering, Administrative, and PPE) to mitigate risks. - Analyze monitoring data, identify trends, prepare technical reports, and manage site IH programs including equipment calibration schedules and database integrity. - Assist in incident investigations, recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and lead IH programs such as ventilation, chemical safety, radiation safety, and respirators.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science/Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, or a related scientific field. - 5+ years of experience in industrial hygiene or occupational health within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Nice to have
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) professional certification. - Experience with EHS management software and proficiency in data modeling and digital technology tools.
