About the role
This role involves evaluating, installing, modifying, upgrading, and maintaining manufacturing equipment in a semiconductor manufacturing environment, specifically supporting DMOS6. This includes defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules.
What you'll do
- Evaluate, select, and order appropriate and cost-effective manufacturing equipment.
- Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Stay current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
- Study equipment performance and reliability.
- Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and addressing equipment problems affecting the manufacturing process.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics or related engineering degree.
- 2 years of relevant experience working as an Equipment Engineer in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Nice to have
- Equipment experience with AMAT PVD and/or AMAT TxZ chambers.
- Prior experience with PVD, CVD, high vacuum and/or ultra high vacuum.
- Equipment experience on AMAT, Veeco, TEL, Novellus, and/or ASM tools.
- Experience on tool monitoring and interdiction software, and equipment maintenance and documentation.
- Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and SPC techniques.
- Experience with semiconductor cleanroom protocol and behaviors.
