About the role
This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining tube bending equipment to manufacture high-quality components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and production schedules.
What you'll do
- Set up and operate manual, semi-automatic, and CNC tube bending machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain product quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Record production data and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation.
- Utilize ERP or shop floor systems to track labor and production activities.
What you'll need
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of tube bending, metal fabrication, machining, or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of tube bending processes, tooling, and materials.
- Proficiency using precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues.
Nice to have
- Experience operating CNC tube bending equipment.
- Medical device, aerospace, or precision manufacturing experience.
- Basic computer skills and experience with manufacturing software systems.
- CNC tube bending setup and programming experience.
- Experience with stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, or specialty alloys.
- Forklift certification.
- Lean Manufacturing and 5S experience.
