About the role
The Trade Operations Program and Trade Data Manager is accountable for the strategy, execution, and governance of all Trade Operations automation and data programs, including the design and implementation of dashboards, KPI frameworks, validation automations, system controls, and trade data oversight supporting Import, Export, and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations.
What you'll do
- Own the enterprise trade data strategy, data definitions, and reporting governance across Import, Export, and FTZ operations. - Lead the portfolio of trade automation initiatives, translating trade requirements into system and validation logic in partnership with IT and external providers. - Own business requirements, UAT coordination, and post-deployment validation for trade-related system changes. - Direct root-cause analysis for exceptions, errors, and systemic process gaps, guiding FTZ analytics including admissions, inventory movements, consumption, and removals. - Own analytics and automation components of audit readiness, supporting internal and external audits with data analysis and evidence packages. - Manage and develop the Trade Analytics team while providing data, KPI, and reporting oversight for CTPAT governance.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree. - 7–12+ years of experience in global trade operations, analytics, automation, or program management. - Experience with dashboards, KPIs, large data sets, trade systems, UAT, and automation initiatives. - Knowledge of Import, Export, and/or FTZ operations. - ERP experience (such as SAP S/4HANA). - Advanced experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools. - Prior people management experience and exposure to CTPAT governance and compliance programs.
