About the role
This role involves testing electronic circuits, including Switched Mode Power Supplies (SMPS), and performing ATE testing and EMI/Immunity testing.
What you'll do
- Test Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS) using e-loads, variacs, AC/DC source, DVMs, DMMs, and oscilloscopes
- Perform ATE testing
- Assist basic power up and/or debugging of SMPS boards
- Perform EMI and Immunity testing (Surge, ESD, EFT, Ringwave, etc.)
- Perform Thermal Evaluation of SMPS including preparation of units
- Write reports in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
What you'll need
- 0-5 years experience in an analog design environment testing electronic circuits
- Associate’s Degree / Technical course in Electronics for applicants with more than 2 years experience, or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics for applicants with less than 2 years experience
- Knowledge on electronic and electrical schematic symbols, and ability to read schematic diagrams
- Knowledge on identifying different component types and packages
