About the role
This role involves performing testing and repair procedures on PCBA assemblies, including installing, testing, troubleshooting, and reassembling units.
What you'll do
- Adhere to PCBA handling procedures and install/remove PCBA assemblies from test systems or TBUs.
- Connect/disconnect interface cables, power supply cables, DIBs, and other fixtures, then load and run automated test programs.
- Interpret failure datalog from test programs and execute defined troubleshooting steps to fix PCBAs.
- Perform repetitive defined testing and troubleshooting procedures to properly fix PCBAs.
- Collaborate with Board Repair Specialist (BRS) and Test Engineer on process improvements, quality, and reliability issues.
- Conduct visual inspection to confirm units have been reassembled/reworked.
What you'll need
- Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics degree with relevant experience in board repair.
- Knowledge of electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering, and repair.
- Computer literate.
