About the role
The Test Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of production test equipment used to verify product quality and performance.
What you'll do
- Operate automated and manual test equipment according to established procedures and work instructions.
- Load and unload product into test handlers, sockets, fixtures, and associated equipment.
- Monitor test systems to ensure proper operation and respond to alarms, equipment faults, or product failures.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate equipment or process issues to Engineering, Maintenance, or Technician teams as required.
- Review test results and accurately document production data, yield information, and test outcomes.
- Perform Manufacturing Execution System (MES) transactions accurately, including lot movement, product tracking, holds, releases, and production status updates.
What you'll need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to read and interpret production documentation, travelers, and test specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime and shift work as needed.
Nice to have
- Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing environments.
- Experience operating automated test equipment (ATE), handlers, probers, or production test systems.
- Understanding of basic electrical and electronic concepts.
- Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controls.
- Experience with MES systems and production transaction processes.
