About the role
This role involves testing features on semiconductor chips produced by Marvell for internal and external customers. The intern will contribute to new product introduction (NPI) activities, including new silicon bring-up and release of test programs.
What you'll do
- Test features on silicon semiconductor chips to ensure performance.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure testability and meet customer specifications.
- Verify code and test programs across individual parts.
- Investigate and determine root causes of unexpected behavior in test results.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) plans, including silicon bring-up and test program releases.
- Optimize test time and yield.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Basic understanding of hardware products, PCBs, electronics manufacturing, or product development processes.
- Ability to organize technical information, summarize data, and communicate clearly.
Nice to have
- Coursework or project experience related to electronics, circuits, embedded systems, manufacturing, or mechanical design.
