About the role
This internship position is within the Advanced Cellular business group at the Phoenix Design Center in Chandler, AZ. Projects and responsibilities focus on test engineering related to the MHB PAD RF module.
What you'll do
- Create automated test software with the use of AI to control test equipment and execute test plans.
- Develop measurement automation using Python, C++, and C# along with custom internal software.
- Measure product using test equipment including RF and Analog test equipment.
- Process, verify, and analyze measured data using Excel and Spotfire to produce presentations and reports.
- Assist TX and RX designers with evaluating parts from various DOE builds.
- Interpret new customer specs and develop testing methodology for measuring those specifications.
What you'll need
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with an emphasis in RF, holding a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Analog/RF circuit design coursework or experience.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C, C++, C#, or other object-oriented languages.
- Knowledge of using AI for coding and automation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Spotfire, or other data analysis software tools.
- Ability to organize and document test methodology and data analysis.
