About the role
This role is for a placement year student supporting laboratory test engineering activities in Burlington, Ontario.
What you'll do
- Actively participate in product development teams throughout the NPI cycle.
- Contribute to ongoing product verification and manufacturing by supporting ATE test activities.
- Support the process to automate test equipment through software such as Python, C++, and Java.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting of product verification and manufacturing test results.
- Evaluate test equipment options and create tools to optimize the workflow process.
- Develop hardware and fixture solutions, including defining and executing PCB schematics and layouts.

- Demonstrable time management and ability to organize and deliver good quality work.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Capability for self-study, training, and continuous learning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within an engineering team.
