About the role
This role drives testing of highly integrated multi-rail power management devices, including probe and final test development of complex mixed-signal circuits. The position focuses on test strategy definition and implementation for new DCDC converter products.
What you'll do
- Generate test plans, develop test and characterization programs, and design ATE hardware interface boards.
- Debug and characterize silicon on ATE, correlating test results with bench data and supporting failure analysis tasks.
- Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and resolve yield issues, and optimize test time.
- Define and implement test strategies, test hardware, and software for new DCDC converter products.
- Execute silicon qualification and characterization, including qualification hardware development and design validation.
- Collaborate with the production team to release products to volume production.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle or equivalent analog ATE (such as iFlex, LTX, or VLCT).
- Experience developing characterization and production test programs and hardware.
- Knowledge of electronic devices, circuits, and analog test techniques.
- Data analysis skills using Spotfire, dataPower, or equivalent tools based on STDF.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment including scopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, and loads.
- Experience with product engineering activities including yield improvement, test time reduction, and the IC product development process through volume production.
Nice to have
- Mixed-signal test techniques and experience developing mixed-signal tests on TI roadmap testers.
- Experience with test program and hardware offload to TI offshore manufacturing sites.
- Programming or scripting proficiency in C++, Python, or C#.
- Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand.
- Experience with revision control tools such as Subversion and Git.
