About the role
Perform operations associated with the processing of VCSEL wafers by following process specifications, factory rules, routing information, and supervisory instructions. The role includes tracking production moves on the CAMSTAR database.
What you'll do
- Execute wafer fabrication operations by adhering strictly to work instructions, established procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Track production moves and maintain data integrity using the CAMSTAR database. - Follow the dispatch list to run lots according to priority while maintaining cleanroom safety and quality standards. - Log down tools that exhibit problems or cannot run production, and report near misses or equipment issues to supervision. - Handle product with extreme care to maintain yield and prevent damage during manufacturing steps. - Maintain required PPE and adhere to site EHS procedures while working in a cleanroom environment.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience, with less than 1 year of related manufacturing experience. - Ability to read and interpret specifications, maintain records, apply basic arithmetic, and use material measurement equipment. - Proficiency in using PC software, including Webmail. - Ability to read, understand, and speak English. - Willingness and ability to work 12-hour compressed shifts (alternating 3 and 4 shifts per week) in a Class 100/1000 cleanroom wearing full cleanroom attire. - Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing for up to 6 hours, sitting for up to 3 hours, lifting 6-10 pounds, and pushing/pulling 16-30 pounds.
