About the role
This internship focuses on technology development activities within Qorvo's Global Operations business groups.
What you'll do
- Learn and conduct development activities for transistor design and fabrication.
- Collect data using various lab bench tools.
- Analyze data using software such as Data Brix, JMP, Spotfire, or Excel.
- Perform Device Characterization and Lab Test measurements.
- Design experiments and conduct hands-on validation.
- Work on projects involving Transistor Layout, Epi characterization, Device characterization, or test plan development.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related fields with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Coursework and/or experience in Semiconductor Device Physics and Electrical Engineering, including Epi exposure, Device Layout, and On-wafer measurement.
- Willingness for "hands on" engineering work in a lab environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Nice to have
- Experience with an electrical engineering tool (i.e. Circuit simulators, circuit layout software, TCAD, VNA/PNA, Spectrum Analyzers).
- Experience with ADS/AWR or circuit layout software.
