About the role
This role involves advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work within your area of expertise, specifically responding to ongoing technical issues with KLA equipment that field product support teams could not resolve.
What you'll do
- Respond to ongoing technical issues with KLA equipment that field product support teams were unable to solve.
- Assist field engineers in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging sophisticated optical/electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, and software solutions.
- Collaborate with specialists and other teams to craft an optimized plan of action to resolve technical issues and recover equipment functionality.
- Travel within the region and worldwide to support escalated issues on-site on short notice.
- Create document content relative to troubleshooting processes, technical findings, and provide service and postmortem reports.
- Participate in tool installation, relocation, and upgrade of equipment.
What you'll need
- Experience working on challenging problems requiring in-depth system knowledge and a sound understanding of operating principles.
- Ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for achieving results.
- Minimum of a Master's Level Degree and 0 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's Level Degree and 2 years of related work experience; OR equivalent relevant work experience.
- Ability to travel 40-70% domestically and internationally.

- Electrical and Mechanical experience.
- Optical experience.
