About the role
Responsible for all technical support aspects at a specific customer, including escalations, fleet performance, system installations, improvement programs, and upgrades.
What you'll do
- Act as an intermediary and field escalation focal point between customer and Division, providing technical support and documentation to field personnel diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging equipment.
- Provide Alpha Site support to Engineering for installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing of new hardware, process, or software designs on engineering tools.
- Provide Beta Site support for installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing of new hardware, software, or processes on customer tools.
- Initiate and review Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to ensure data supports fixes, and manage follow-up communication to the field.
- Generate and present system performance metrics such as MTBF, MTBI, and Availability, alongside process data and warranty spending analysis.
- Support Global Product Support (GPS) by authoring and reviewing documentation, including CENs and BKMs for technical improvements, system upgrades, and support plans.
What you'll need
- Conceptual and practical expertise in equipment engineering technical support and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex semiconductor equipment.
- Ability to analyze and report equipment performance metrics, including MTBF, MTBI, and system availability.
- Experience managing Alpha Site and Beta Site support for hardware, process, or software releases.
- Proven background creating and reviewing technical documentation such as ECOs, CENs, and BKMs.
