About the role
This role involves providing technical support for materials engineering solutions, focusing on escalations, fleet performance, system installations, improvement programs, and upgrades at customer sites.
What you'll do
- Provide all technical support aspects at customer sites, including escalations, fleet performance, system installations, and upgrades.
- Act as the field escalation focal point between the customer and Division, offering technical support and documentation.
- Provide Alpha Site support for installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing of new hardware, process, or software designs.
- Provide Beta Site Support for installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing of new hardware, software, or processes on customer tools.
- Initiate and review ECO's, ensuring data supports fixes and communicating follow-ups to the field.
- Generate and present system performance data, including MTBF, MTBI, Availability, process data, and I/W spending analysis.
- Support GPS in generating documentation like CENs and BKMs, create and review technical improvements, system upgrades, and support plans.
What you'll need

- Basic knowledge of related disciplines to technical support.
- Awareness of competitors and market differentiators in materials engineering solutions.
- Ability to solve complex problems and apply new perspectives to existing solutions.
- Capability to impact customer, operational, project, or service activities within own and related teams.
- Experience explaining difficult or sensitive information and building consensus.
