This role involves the hands-on operation of optical dicing processes to achieve 0% reject standards and meet customer specifications. You will be responsible for precision cutting and processing optical materials like glass wafers and telecom components.
What you'll do
- Perform hands-on operation of optical dicing processes.
- Execute all optical sizing steps according to procedure to a 0% reject standard.
- Operate and set up precision dicing equipment.
- Inspect filters for defects and maintain accurate process documentation.
- Work with the team to meet delivery goals.
- Improve processes under guidance.
What you'll need
- Ability to apply basic math to product activities.
- Capability to understand and interpret product drawings (blueprints).
- Familiarity with precision optics manufacturing and metrology.
- Ability to meet tight time schedules.
- Perform tasks independently with minimal guidance.
