About the role
This internship provides an opportunity to join the Intelligent Sensor Group (ISG) Test Engineering team, supporting automotive, commercial, and industrial CMOS image sensors throughout the new product development (NPD) cycle.
What you'll do
- Implement production test requirements on high priority image sensor products.
- Develop test code and test methodologies to improve coverage and margin for pre-qualified devices.
- Develop test routines for novel device features and product capabilities.
- Gain experience with automated test equipment related to wafer probe and package test.
- Perform product debug and data analysis on test results.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in an accredited BS/MS degree program pursuing Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience programming in high level languages such as C, C++, Python, and/or Visual Basic.
- Electric circuit coursework, preferably micro-electronics.
- Ability to learn and understand electrical test equipment.
- Ability to interpret data distributions and make engineering judgements.
