About the role
Applied Materials’ TKM SBU is searching for a Program Management Intern to support global service projects and reporting initiatives. The role focuses on supply chain data analysis, executive-level reporting, and supplier management for spare parts cleaning and coating services.
What you'll do
- Extract, clean, and analyze supply chain data from multiple internal databases using Excel, Tableau, and AI to support operational insights.
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and automated reports to monitor cost, logistics performance, supplier capacity, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and data-driven optimization.
- Conduct TKM cost-saving global initiatives alignment and prepare executive-level status reports for presentation to global leadership.
- Develop plans to bring up multiple global suppliers in parallel and support ad hoc supplier management initiatives.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Statistics, MBA, or a related business degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Python, SQL, and data visualization in Tableau.
- Experience with AI prompts for data and operational workflows.
- Ability and comfort working in a manufacturing cleanroom environment.
- Availability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Nice to have
- A GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.
- Advanced proficiency in Tableau.
