About the role

This director-level role focuses on leading a team responsible for substrates business capacity and capability, ensuring execution against critical product, technology, and customer timelines.

What you'll do

  • Set direction for supplier technical capability assessments and readiness plans.
  • Assess the substrate supplier network's capacity, capability, scalability, and long-term readiness.
  • Partner across Intel organizations to define supply chain requirements aligned to Intel's product and foundry roadmaps.
  • Drive supplier capacity expansion timelines, readiness checkpoints, and executive-level risk mitigation.
  • Build and sustain strategic engagement with in-network and out-of-network substrate, material, and equipment suppliers.
  • Provide enterprise program leadership by combining technical depth, business judgment, ecosystem and market awareness, and disciplined execution.

What you'll need

  • 12+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 8+ years with a Master's degree, or 6+ years with a PhD in supply chain, engineering, or technical leadership roles.
  • Expertise in supply chain engineering, supplier management, data analysis, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage performance, drive results, and lead cross-functional teams and initiatives.
  • Experience managing semiconductor test equipment and tooling.
  • Experience negotiating complex deals with suppliers or customers.

Nice to have

  • Advanced understanding of semiconductor supply chains, tools, and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage long-term supplier partnerships and execute cost reduction programs.
  • Experience leading escalations, risk mitigation activities, and executive-level supplier business reviews.
