About the role
This role involves supporting functional safety activities for a wide range of SoC products within NXP's Automotive, Edge, Audio, Analog, and Radar Processing business lines.
What you'll do
- Support Functional Safety activities.
- Contribute to Safety Requirements activities.
- Support Safety Architecture activities.
- Participate in Safety Analysis activities.
- Work with engineering tools such as ELM, Medini Analyzer, Cameo, and EA.
- Use internal AI-based tools to improve efficiency within the Functional Safety Competence Centre.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Automotive Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals, computer architecture, microcontrollers, or SoC design concepts.
- Exposure to embedded systems, hardware/software interaction, or semiconductor development.
- Basic understanding of functional safety concepts and an interest in automotive safety standards.
