About the role
This intern role focuses on developing a methodology for simulating and correlating CISPR 25 emissions, crucial for integrated circuits in automotive and industrial markets.
What you'll do
- Review existing simulation and modeling methods for EMC emissions.
- Study mechanisms generating conducted and radiated emissions at component and system levels.
- Develop simulation models for critical emission paths (IC, PCB, cables, passive components).
- Establish a simulation flow to estimate CISPR 25 performance.
- Compare simulation results with laboratory EMC measurements.
- Identify influential parameters for simulation/measurement correlation and define validation criteria.
What you'll need
- Final year engineering student or Master's degree (Bac+5) in Analog Electronics, RF, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), or Applied Electromagnetics.
- Knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
- Basic knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility.
- Experience with simulation tools (SPICE, ADS, CST, HFSS or equivalent).
- Ability to analyze and process data.
- Good level of English.
Skills: CISPR 25, EMC, simulation, analog electronics, electromagnetics

How we counted: 257 open RF/Wireless Engineering (RF Frontend) roles from 34 employers tracked in the SemiconductorJobs index, counted 18 Sept 2026. Specialty figures count only roles carrying this exact specialty label, so an employer's related work in neighbouring specialties is not included there — it is counted in the wider Analog & Mixed-Signal family row.
