What you'll do
- Research, design, standardize, implement, optimize, verify, validate, and commercialize Wireless WAN (or cellular) air interfaces, modem technologies, and related core network.
- Design, optimize, and implement critical wireless systems and modems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high quality and high capability air interface and modems.
- Develop, review, and/or verify models, code, tests and/or simulations.
- Execute the integration of architecture and systems into a standard, chipset, platform, or product.
- Write detailed technical documentation (e.g., feature, component, and design descriptions) for complex projects.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 4+ years of Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience, OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 3+ years of Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience, OR PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
Nice to have
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or related field.
- 5 years of experience with programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
- 1 year of applicable wireless, semiconductor and/or embedded software industry experience.
