About the role
This role involves designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating Analog/mix-signal Integrated Circuits (IC) for high performance NAND flash memories.
What you'll do
- Design and evaluate Analog/mix-signal Integrated Circuits (IC) for NAND flash, including 3D NAND memories.
- Design low power analog modules such as OPAMP and Voltage Regulator.
- Design high voltage word line driver circuits.
- Perform sensing operation analysis and power & ground network analysis.
- Write module interface specifications for communication with other design groups.
- Verify designs in simulation and interact with layout and other functional groups for implementation, integration, and silicon validation.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new architecture, features, and device modes.
- Probe and evaluate silicon results and work with characterization engineers to resolve silicon issues.
What you'll need
- MS degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge and/or experience in non-volatile memory design (NAND flash memory cell operation).
- Knowledge of Digital design, RTL, Analog Integration Circuits design, Nanoscale Fabrication and Characterization, VLSI Design, and VLSI Circuits.
Nice to have
- Strong device background.
- Experience with evaluating new process technologies for use in design.
