About the role
As a Staff Validation Engineer on the Mixed-Signal IC Validation team, you will support audio products from pre-silicon emulation through post-silicon validation. The work focuses on platform-level mixed-signal processing devices designed for audio applications.
What you'll do
- Lead validation of analog and digital products across pre-silicon platforms and post-silicon lab environments against datasheet and system requirements.
- Develop Python-based automation frameworks and regression suites to improve validation efficiency, repeatability, and coverage.
- Apply AI-enabled tools and techniques to streamline validation workstreams, test-data analysis, and failure triage.
- Partner with IC Design, Systems, Applications, and Firmware engineers to translate product requirements and use cases into validation plans.
- Lead root-cause analysis of silicon, board-level, and validation software or hardware issues.
- Analyze validation data, identify failures and defects, and communicate findings using tools such as Spotfire.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience applying electrical engineering principles to analog, digital, power electronics, and/or audio systems.
