About the role
This role involves driving the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs spanning data center cards, servers, racks, and lab infrastructure, with a focus on end-to-end hardware programs.
What you'll do
- Drive execution of data center hardware programs from concept through delivery and sustaining, supporting schedule, budget, and quality commitments.
- Develop and maintain program scope, milestones, resource assumptions, and success criteria.
- Drive day-to-day program execution, including cross-functional coordination, issue resolution, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
- Manage program schedules and planning frameworks, utilizing tools like Microsoft Project.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for hardware procurement and delivery.
- Provide clear program status updates, risks, and escalation paths to stakeholders and management.
- Track compliance activities related to industry standards and regulatory requirements in data center hardware development.
- Track program budgets and financials, identify variances, and support cost-effective execution.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of program management experience with complex, multi-disciplinary hardware programs.
- Hands-on experience with data center hardware and lab infrastructure development, testing, deployment, or vendor management.
- Strong understanding of data center operations, hardware components, and supporting infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with program management tools and software.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree.
- High-level familiarity with software lifecycle concepts and reliability topics (e.g., RAS, Silent Data Errors).
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in hyperscale data center design and operations.
- Project/Program Management certification (e.g., PMP).
