About the role

This Staff Product Manager role contributes to the Qualcomm Snapdragon roadmap across various target markets. This includes driving the roadmap for Snapdragon processors for smartphones, consumer and enterprise computing devices, automotive applications, data center applications, smart glasses, augmented and virtual reality applications, wearables, and IoT products.

What you'll do

  • Contribute to the roadmap for all categories of Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets.
  • Synchronize Technology IP roadmaps and the Snapdragon product roadmap.
  • Identify and anticipate key technology development trends and analyze competitor solutions.
  • Update and maintain Snapdragon roadmap documentation and communicate it internally.
  • Drive the specification of chipsets from the concept phase until program plan approval.
  • Collaborate with Technology Product Management teams to define technology options and trade-offs.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience OR Associate's degree or equivalent and 8+ years of related work experience OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of related work experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
  • Understanding of mobile processing, multimedia, and graphics technologies from technical and business perspectives.
  • Strategic planning and vision, competitive analysis, positioning, and messaging skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Rigor and precision in managing frequently changing, complex, sensitive data.

Nice to have

  • MBA
  • 5 years Product Management or related work experience in the wireless communications industry.
  • 2 years working in a large matrixed organization.
