About the role

This role defines and promotes Qualcomm chipsets and software products for ADAS and Infotainment use cases, directing product strategy from conception through end of life. The position owns the roadmap for global ADAS/Flex customer programs, delivering both ADAS and Infotainment solutions on a single SoC.

What you'll do

- Define and own the product roadmap for global ADAS/Flex customer programs, covering both ADAS and Infotainment solutions on a single SoC. - Lead technical discussions covering BSP, drivers, OS, RTOS, AUTOSAR, ADAS/AD middleware, application stacks, Android, Linux, and camera subsystems. - Define use cases, assist with software architecture, and write requirements for SDKs, BSP, and ADAS/AD/Infotainment middleware. - Work directly with customers and internal engineering teams on RFIs, RFQs, and system-level use case modeling and analysis. - Translate customer requirements, market dynamics, and ecosystem feedback into feature requests and differentiated software development plans. - Facilitate cross-functional decision-making across Product Management, Business Development, HW/SW Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Sales.

What you'll need

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or a related field. - 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience. - Technical expertise in ADAS software development or ADAS software product management, including Linux, QNX, BSP, Embedded Software, and ADAS SW stacks. - Working knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO26262), Automotive SW development processes, and V&V processes. - Experience with camera subsystems, image/video processing, machine vision, or AI/ML/Neural network processing. - Ability to work onsite in San Diego, 5 days a week.

Nice to have

- 10 years of Product Management or related work experience. - 8 years of Automotive SW dev/management (including requirements/systems) experience. - 3 years of experience delivering ADAS/AD Software stack products. - 3 years of experience leading SW/Systems architecture for ADAS/Infotainment systems. - Experience managing budgets and negotiating third-party business contracts or agreements in large organizations.
