About the role
As a Staff Product Engineer at SanDisk, you will develop 3D and BiCS Flash memory technology and bring new NAND memory products into high-volume production with OEM quality levels. The focus spans defining test flows, performing electrical failure analysis, and driving defect management for client and enterprise storage.
What you'll do
- Define client- and enterprise-specific NAND test flows and screens to meet DPPM and reliability targets.
- Develop 3D and BiCS Flash memory technology (3 bits/cell and nbits/cell) to support high-volume production ramps.
- Perform failure analysis, including eFA, to identify root causes of yield loss and drive improvements in test flows.
- Provide product engineering support after transferring memory products from design to manufacturing.
- Interface with design, process, device, test, and reliability engineering teams to address yield, defect management, and cost reduction.
What you'll need
- Master's degree or higher in electronics, microelectronics, electrical engineering, communication, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of semiconductor experience.
- Experience with 3D NAND debug and testing.
- Background in NAND flash operation, including data sheet specifications and timings.
- Programming experience, preferably C, C++, and Perl tester languages.
