About the role

This role involves developing CMOS image sensor (CIS) processes to meet performance, yield, and schedule targets. The position collaborates directly with foundry partners and internal design teams on silicon, color, and package fabrication processes.

What you'll do

- Develop CMOS image sensor (CIS) processes and establish process flows applicable to mass production. - Collaborate with foundry partners to define and improve CIS silicon, color, and package processes. - Design and manage silicon split lots to achieve performance targets and production requirements. - Analyze bench and wafer-level data, feeding insights back into pixel and wafer split designs. - Partner with characterization engineers to evaluate test results, optimize test efficiency, and coordinate evaluation equipment. - Monitor foundry lot processing, select fabrication processes, and resolve processing issues to mitigate yield loss and schedule delays.

What you'll need

- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Two years of experience in developing and fabricating semiconductor devices, including designing and managing experimental splits. - Experience with photolithography and microfabrication techniques, including electron beam, thermal deposition, sputtering, and reactive ion etching in a clean room environment. - Experience with silicon and semiconductor device testing, including SEM, TEM, AFM, spectroscopy techniques (photo- and fluoro-luminescence, FTIR, UV-vis), and optical and electrical device characterization. - Experience defining project roadmaps, performance targets, and schedules.
