About the role
Eridu AI is seeking a Staff - Principal Software Engineer, SONiC/SAI to focus on software-defined networking and systems software for AI data center infrastructure. The role involves developing network operating system capabilities to address communication bottlenecks in multi-GPU architectures.
What you'll do
- Architect, implement, and maintain SONiC and SAI software components across networking infrastructure.
- Develop software-defined networking layers and integrate network operating system services with underlying hardware.
- Optimize network communication paths to address bottlenecks affecting training and inference workloads.
- Collaborate with systems, software, and hardware teams to validate network reliability and performance.
What you'll need
- Experience developing and deploying SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) and SAI (Switch Abstraction Interface).
- Background in systems software engineering within network operating systems or software-defined networking environments.
- Practical knowledge of networking protocols, switch architectures, and hardware-software integration.
