About the role
As a Staff ML HW Modelling Engineer at Arm Holdings, you will develop and architect hardware modelling platforms for NPU IP while evaluating performance.
What you'll do
- Develop, design, and architect hardware modelling platforms for NPU development while evaluating performance.
- Collaborate with ML hardware design and verification teams to contribute to product design, specification, and verification.
- Collaborate with compiler teams to optimize hardware performance.
- Support the hardware model for use in customer engagements.
- Lead larger work packages, drive technical direction, and mentor junior engineers.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, or a similar technical field.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, including directing larger work packages and mentoring engineers.
Nice to have
- Experience in HW design and/or modelling.
- Experience in SystemC and HLS flows.
- Source control skills with Git, Gerrit, or Repo.
- Experience with CI/CD and methods like agile SW development, continuous integration, and Test driven development.
- Experience with machine learning applications and frameworks.
- Understanding of signal processing and control systems.
