About the role
This Staff IC Layout Engineer role involves the layout of RF, Analogue, and microwave integrated circuits. The position focuses on integrated RF circuits for mobile communications using CMOS and SOI technologies.
What you'll do
- Layout RF, Analogue, and microwave integrated circuits for mobile communications.
- Floor plan and realize highly integrated RF circuits.
- Design top-level and block-level layouts, including circuit and layout verification checks (LVS, DRC).
- Optimize RF and Analogue layout size for CMOS and SOI.
- Design laminate layers, interfacing silicon with package.
- Interface and cooperate with RF IC design engineers, foundry, and manufacturing.
- Manage tape out process, data documentation, and data archiving.
What you'll need
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Background in RF/Microwave engineering and experience with integrated RF circuit layouts.
- Understanding of semiconductor process technologies such as CMOS and SOI.
- Experience with Cadence CAD tools.
