About the role
As an HBM Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design and analysis of digital and analog circuits for advanced HBM products. This role focuses on pushing the limits of memory performance for AI, ML, and high-performance computing using advanced HBM solutions.
What you'll do
- Design and analyze digital and analog DRAM circuits including simulation, optimization, and floorplanning.
- Evaluate full-chip or block-level functionality and develop solutions to ensure functional correctness.
- Analyze timing, power, area, and complexity trade-offs in high-speed DRAM or mixed-signal designs.
- Perform architectural pathfinding and feasibility analysis for future HBM products.
- Contribute to the design and optimization of memory, logic, and analog circuits.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of CMOS circuit design and semiconductor device physics.
- Experience with schematic entry and circuit simulation using FineSim and/or HSPICE.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with advanced DRAM architectures such as 3D DRAM.
- Background in high-speed clocking, interfaces, or power delivery optimization.
- Experience in mixed-signal or custom circuit design.
