About the role
This role involves developing and refining CMP processes to support advanced DRAM technology acceleration.
What you'll do
- Develop and refine CMP processes.
- Collaborate with teams to develop new semiconductor devices.
- Perform process characterization, develop new consumables, and evaluate new hardware.
- Conduct research to contribute to Micron’s patent portfolio.
- Drive continuous process and efficiency improvements.
- Direct and manage CMP consumables and equipment suppliers.
- Plan and complete experiments, presenting results in clear reports.
What you'll need
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English languages.
- Expertise in CMP process development.
- Hands-on experience with CMP polishing equipment, including equipment operation, optical metrology, profilometry, common polishing slurries, and polishing pads.
- In-depth understanding of polishing mechanisms for dielectric and metal CMP.
- Strong knowledge of material properties and characterization techniques.
- Understanding of statistics, mathematics principles, and various machine learning algorithms.
- M.S. or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field; OR B.S. with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
