About the role
This role is responsible for UHP and HPL laser backend assembly, test, and AOI during new chip product introduction, production ramp, yield sustaining, and improvement in foundries.
What you'll do
- Bring up UHP and HPL laser assembly, test, and AOI equipment to support production, yield improvement, and product cost reduction from fabrication to final test.
- Perform statistical data analysis, correlation, and troubleshoot potential root causes for yield excursions in the fab using test data.
- Run process versus product parameter correlation to evaluate process and product margins and drive improvements.
- Execute early detection of fab excursions using test data before material is sent to the assembly site.
- Perform engineering material disposition at wafer acceptance test and manage material disposition across operations.
- Conduct failure analysis for NPI, sustaining products, and RMA while coordinating with R&D, product engineering, process integration, and contract manufacturers.
What you'll need
- Experience in backend assembly, test, and automated optical inspection (AOI) for semiconductor or laser products.
- Demonstrated background in statistical data analysis and correlation of fab test data.
- Hands-on experience with failure analysis for NPI, sustaining products, and RMA.
- Experience with engineering material disposition, including wafer acceptance test (WAT).
- Experience coordinating technical root-cause analyses across R&D, product engineering, and contract manufacturers.
