MEMS-based precision timing devices.
About the role
A Senior Test Development Engineer is responsible for hardware and software test solution development for SiTime's precision timing devices. From initial product kick-off to end of life, the role defines ATE test hardware and software and supports the launch of new products into high-volume production.
What you'll do
- Develop test solutions for precision timing devices, accounting for quality, cost, and time to market. - Perform board-level design of custom test boards and probe cards. - Set up, implement, debug, and optimize test programs for automated testing to ensure multi-site scalability and gauge repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R). - Execute NPI test package transfer to production and collaborate with overseas personnel to release test solutions. - Lead yield enhancement and cost reduction projects. - Support additional projects across the product lifecycle as business needs evolve.
What you'll need
- Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, with 5-10 years of related work experience. - Background in ATE development for mixed-signal ICs. - Knowledge of analog electronics and experience with board-level design and debug. - Experience in statistical analysis of test data. - Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation. - Programming skills with C++.
Nice to have
- Hands-on skills with ATE platforms such as Teradyne ETS-364, ETS-88, uFLEX, or LTX-Credence ASL1K. - Prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters. - Experience with MATLAB and Python.
