About the role

As a Senior Systems Engineer, Audio Amplifiers (Consumer), you will define integrated circuits (ICs) and solutions for consumer products by translating customer needs into detailed design and test specifications used to guide the design of the IC. You will define audio and haptic amplifier devices incorporating ADCs, DACs, Class D amplifiers, and DSP blocks.

What you'll do

- Collaborate with tier 1 customers and internal engineering teams to define system and performance requirements, feature sets, and architecture definitions for complex IC designs containing ADCs, DACs, Class D amplifiers, sensor monitors, DSP, filtering, clocking, and communication interfaces. - Gather and evaluate customer requirements, system-level components, digital/analog process technologies, packaging options, and design constraints to propose viable solutions in IC specifications. - Author system requirements, specifications, and IC- and system-level use cases for design, emulation, and test teams. - Review verification and validation test plans, and participate in architecture, IC-level, and board-level design reviews with cross-functional engineering teams. - Evaluate ICs in the lab alongside bring-up, applications, and test teams, and perform competitive analysis including lab investigations. - Support audio and haptic amplifier roadmaps and participate in industry conferences to ensure compatibility with adopted standards.

What you'll need

- BS in Electrical Engineering. - 5+ years of experience in applications engineering or product definition supporting low/mid power audio amplifiers, Class D amplifiers, or mixed-signal integrated circuits for audio processing in portable electronic products (such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktop PCs, pro audio, or audio accessories).

Nice to have

- MS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
